Mid Suffolk District Council is based in the heart of East
Anglia providing a wide range of services for local people, our
simple purpose is to make our services accessible for our
community. It has attractive market towns, beautiful villages
and a laid-back lifestyle that the rest of the country can only
dream of. We have over 120 parishes, which is the most of any
district in Suffolk, and that gives people a sense of community and
place. Village life involves a strong sense of community, which in
an area as rural as ours is essential.
Mid Suffolk not only offers a place for residents to enjoy and
relax, we are also a good location for commuters to London and with
the station at Stowmarket; we also have connections to the west of
the country. The road links of the A14 and A12 make our district
accessible, yet far away enough to preserve the tranquil nature
that our residents
like.
