If yes, then the Mid Suffolk Business Loan Scheme may be the
thing you were looking for.
Mid Suffolk District Council is working in partnership with
Barclays Bank to offer loans of up to £50,000 with interest being
subsidised for two years, of up to 4% (year one) and 2% (year
two).
Eligibility
- Your business must be based within the Mid Suffolk
District
- Your annual turnover must be less than £500,000
- You must be able to demonstrate need for subsidy
- All loans are discretionary an subject to Barclays standard
terms and conditions
Mid Suffolk District Council also has a grant scheme to help
with the conversion of buildings into business use. Grants of up to
25% can be given to assist with conversion costs to bring premises
into commercial use. Appropriate planning permission must be in
place and grants cannot be give retrospectively for any works
completed or in progress.
