Barclays
This scheme is administered by the Needham
Market branch of Barclays Bank and available for
business that are based in the Mid Suffolk area.
This is a long-standing partnership scheme between Barclays
and Mid Suffolk District Council where the bank provides the loan
capital and the Council provides a contribution to the interest
payable. Interest is subsidised by the Council for two years - Year
1 at a rate of 4%, Year 2 at 2%. Businesses must
be based in Mid Suffolk, with a turnover of less than £500,000 per
year, maximum loan is £50,000.

- Annual turnover must be less than
£500,000
- Must be able to demonstrate need for
subsidy
- All loans are discretionary an subject to
