Implementing Electronic Government

Mid Suffolk’s Implementing Electronic Government (IEG) statement is an essential part of the national monitoring process for assessing electronic local service delivery capability against the targets, and supports the aims of the National Strategy for local e-government, www.localegov.gov.uk

It shows how e-government will improve services and outcomes in the Mid Suffolk District in terms of the seven shared priorities for local government:

  1. Raising standards across schools
  2. Improving quality of life of children, young people, families at risk and older people
  3. Promoting healthier communities by targeting key local services such as health and housing
  4. Creating safer and stronger communities
  5. Transforming our local environment
  6. Meeting transport needs more effectively
  7. Promoting the economic vitality of localities
