Supporting older people has been
identified as a key priority for the Council. In response to this,
the following document outlines a sustainable approach based on a
specific Strategy for Supporting Older People, bringing together
those things already being done as well as things planned for the
future. This is considered appropriate considering the age profile
of the District and the particular problems that older people often
face living in rural communities.
