The Best Value
Performance Plan (BVPP) is a document that we as a Council have a
statutory duty to produce by the 30 June each year.
- It is a statement of
the Council's operational position.
- It tells you what the
Council’s Ambition, Direction and Priorities are.
- It tells you how we are
linking the Council’s priorities with the need / wants / desires of
the residents of Mid Suffolk. This is done through the work of the
Local Strategic Partnership and the Community Strategy.
- It tells you about the
innovative new ways that the Council is using to provide services
and contact with the residents of the District.
- It looks backwards and
forwards, reporting on what individual services have undertaken in
the last year, and outlining what we are planning to do in the year
ahead.
- It tells you about
Comprehensive Performance Assessment (CPA), which is the
government’s way of monitoring how Council’s perform.
- It tells you:
· How and what monies we receive and
how we spend it on your services
· What we are doing to provide better
and more effective services
· Who to contact at the Council, or
CSD if you have a question
· Who to contact if you have a
problem
This Best Value Performance Plan
(BVPP) endeavours to summarise the information that we think you
would want to know.
