We will:

• Provide facilities for every householder, owner or occupier of residential property to register to vote
• Provide facilities for every person on the register of electors to be able to exercise their franchise at appropriate elections
• Provide facilities for those unable to attend a polling place to receive a postal or proxy vote
• Provide every elector with a poll card prior to each election giving details of the date and time for polling and the polling place
• Publish final registers on the statutory dates
• Deal with all claims by the statutory dates
• Endeavour to register all young attainers
• Offer absent voting facilities to all care homes and nursing homes
• Provide facilities and advice on nominations

• Completing your registration form accurately and returning it promptly
• Letting us have nominations and any applications as soon as possible and not waiting until the last moment
• Using your vote
