Mid Suffolk Business Support
  • Does your business need capital to start up or expand?
  • Is your turnover less than £500,000 per annum?
  • Are commercial rates of interest too much for you to afford?

If yes, then the Mid Suffolk Business Loan Scheme may be the thing you were looking for.
 
Mid Suffolk District Council is working in partnership with Barclays Bank to offer loans of up to £50,000 with the interest rate being subsidised for the first two years, of up to 4% (year one) and 4% (year two).

Eligibility

  • Your business must be based within the Mid Suffolk District
  • Your annual turnover must be less than £500,000
  • You must be able to demonstrate need for subsidy
  • All loans are discretionary and subject to Barclays standard terms and conditions

Mid Suffolk also have a limited capital grant fund to assist with the conversion of properties into commercial use. Grants of up to 25% can be given for building works. Grants cannot be given retrospectively for work already started and planning permissions must be in place for any works.
