Mid Suffolk Business Loan Scheme may be the
thing you were looking for.
Mid Suffolk District Council is working in partnership with
Barclays Bank to offer loans of up to £50,000 with the interest
rate being subsidised for the first two years, of up to 4%
(year one) and 4% (year two).
Eligibility
- Your business must be based within the Mid Suffolk
District
- Your annual turnover must be less than £500,000
- You must be able to demonstrate need for subsidy
- All loans are discretionary and subject to Barclays standard
terms and conditions

Mid Suffolk also have a limited capital grant
fund to assist with the conversion of properties into
commercial use. Grants of up to 25% can be given for building
works. Grants cannot be given retrospectively for work already
started and planning permissions must be in place for any
works.
