In line with their responsibilities
under part IIA of the Environmental protection Act 1990, Mid
Suffolk District Council has developed a contaminated land
strategy. Following this strategy, the council will be identifying
areas of potential contamination and subsequently carrying out
surveys to establish whether problems exist or are likely as a
result of contamination.
The Contaminated Land Strategy has now
