As from 17th January 2011
Mid Suffolk Council will no longer be providing an in-house pest
control service. However, our recommended service provider will be
MITIE, contact details are given below.
Any domestic and pest control requests we receive will be forwarded
to MITIE. Please click the link for a list of MITIE's
charges that are at a special rate
available to residents of Mid Suffolk & Babergh District
Councils.
We believe that we have negotiated very reasonable fees for work
undertaken by MITIE, but it is a matter for each individual to
decide whether to use this service or another service
provider.

as part of the process when the options for the future of the
pest control service were being considered in 2010. It's main
purpose was to determine the impact of moving to a single
charging structure if provision of the service was
continued.

of the infestation eg rats under shed or mice in attic. You should
be aware that you will be asked to make your payment, by debit or
credit card, at the time of booking.
