Charges from 1st April 2008 for 12 months
The following range of services are
provided by the Council:
Domestic Premises
Charges are as follows:
- rats - £45.00
- mice (indoor only) -
£45.00
- rats & mice (both
indoor only - otherwise separate charges) £60.00
- others* - the fees vary
but may be viewed on the list of
Environmental Health Fees and Charges. (PDF,
19Kb).
- * 'Others'
includes:
- ants in dwellings and
in the immediate surroundings, bedbugs
- cockroaches, earwigs in
dwellings
- fleas, flies in swarms
and clusters
- hornet nests,
silverfish in dwellings
- squirrels within
dwellings, swarming bees
- wasp nests
Payment must be made before
treatment.
Domestic Pest Control Charges are
charged at half the standard rate to people who are registered with
a disability, in receipt of Council Tax or Housing Benefit or are a
Mid Suffolk Key Cardholder.
Commercial Premises
All the pest types listed for domestic
premises are charged at £80.00 plus VAT for the first hour
and £55 per hour thereafter.
