Housing Services Performance
From August 2010, Mid Suffolk District Council will use performance information HouseMark's National Benchmarking Club and Stock Retained Councils Benchmarking Club, using HouseMark's subscription website, to establish, review and improve the performance of the Housing Services department. Performance management is key to our success in Housing Services.

Our Purpose "To deliver local access to high quality, value for money services" (Extract from Mid Suffolk District Council Strategic Plan 2007-2011)

Mid Suffolk District Council's latest quarterly housing performance benchmarking reports

Every three months, Mid Suffolk District Council will review its performance information against other housing organisations either on a national basis, on a local basis, or against other similar housing organisations where possible. The information collected will be used to create a quarterly housing performance benchmarking report which will outline the following:

  • Our performance for the quarter
  • Comparison of our performance for the quarter against our performance from the same time last year
  • Comparison of our performance against the Council's own targets for the quarter
  • To establish a quartile performance position and ranking for each performance indicator. Quartile positions and ranking, are awarded to the Council based on the other housing organisations taking part in HouseMark's National Benchmarking Club and Stock Retained Councils Benchmarking Club
  • Comparison of our performance for the quarter with other housing organisations taking part in HouseMark's National Benchmarking Club and Stock Retained Councils Benchmarking Club;
