Mid Suffolk District
Council uses performance information from other councils
in the Greater Haven Gateway sub region with their own
housing stock, and average high
performance figures achieved for all Council's in
England (released by the Audit Commission), to establish,
review and improve the performance of the Housing Services
department. Performance management is key to our success in Housing
Services.
Our Purpose
"To deliver local access to high quality,
value for money services" (Extract from Mid Suffolk
District Council Strategic Plan 2007-2011)
Mid Suffolk District Council's latest quarterly
housing performance
benchmarking reports
Mid Suffolk District Council looks at its performance on a
quarterly basis, which mean every 3 months. Every 3 months Mid
Suffolk District Council collects performance information from
other housing organisations in the Greater Haven
Gateway sub region to compare their performance with. The
information collected is then used to create a quarterly housing
performance benchmarking report.
Housing performance benchmarking reports outline the
following:
- The Council's performance for the quarter
- Comparison of our performance for the quarter against our
performance from the same time last year
- Comparison of our performance against the Council's own
targets for the quarter
- To establish a performance position for different
performance indicators, which is called a quartile position.
This position is awarded to Mid Suffolk District Council for
different performance indicators based upon average high
performance figures achieved for all Council's
in England
- Comparison of our performance for the quarter with other
councils' in the Greater Haven Gateway sub region
