The Compact in Suffolk is a
document which sets out principles to work to for the voluntary and
the public sector to ensure best practice is adhered to and to
encourage working together. It is underpinned by 5 Codes of Good
Practice: Volunteering, Community Groups, BME and Diversity,
Consultation and Funding and Procurement.
Mid Suffolk District Council are a signatory of the Compact in
Suffolk. Within Housing we aim to work to the guidelines suggested
in the Codes of Practice documents, in particular the guidelines
specifically for Consultation and BME and Diversity. To view the
