Leisure Centres

The Mid Suffolk Leisure Centre in Stowmarket and Stradbroke Swimming Pool are currently operated by SLM working in partnership with MSDC.

SLM formed in 1987 to manage Local Authority contracts and is the longest established leisure management contractor in the UK. The operation of facilities is carried out by three associated organisations; SLM Fitness & Health Ltd, SLM Food & Beverages Ltd and SLM Community Leisure Charitable Trust.

SLM Fitness & Health Ltd manages the fitness suite and group exercise programmes branded as Banana Fitness.

SLM Community Leisure Charitable Trust manages swimming pools, sports halls, creches, squash courts and other activity areas within the leisure centres managed by the SLM Group.We have a superb range of brands and products which are attractive to all ages and abilities and are designed to promote health & fitness in the community. The Charity aims to provide opportunities for all sectors of the community to participate in sport and recreational activity
