The Grants for Outstanding Sports People Scheme aims to provide
some financial support for talented young sports people in their
quest for sporting excellence.
Small cash grants are given to help cover costs, such as travel
expenses to training and competition or coaching fees to aid
improvement, performance and progression to national honours.
Who Can Apply?
Applicants must: be aged under 18 or in full time education.
Have represented the county at their sport (if no county team
exists then proof of participation at an equivalent standard must
be provided by your coach / county association or National
Governing Body). Be a resident of Mid Suffolk
Deadline for Applications
Applications will be assessed twice a year.

This is a programme aimed at helping small groups with a
community focus. Supported by Sport England it funds projects that
improve sporting opportunities for more people to take part in
sport.

Sportsmatch
This is a Government initiative, which aims to improve the
quality and quantity of business sponsorship at the grass roots
