Creepy Crawlies and Stories for families in Mid Suffolk

Families are being offered an enchanting introduction to the magical world of bugs this summer as Green Tales on Tour returns again to take minibeast safari’s and super stories out to various sites across the district.

Devised and funded by Mid Suffolk District Council’s Arts and Countryside Service, the tour invites families to search for and discover weird and wonderful creatures living in their local green spaces.  Storyteller, Rich Sylvester will then be on hand to weave a selection of nature-inspired tales into the adventure.

The tour runs from Wednesday 18 until Friday 20 August and will be visiting Thurston, Debenham, Fressingfield, Mendlesham, Eye and Combs near Stowmarket.

Each 2 hour session costs £3 per child and accompanying adults are free. Suitable for ages 4-11.

Zoey Furzer, Arts Officer said: ‘These activities are a great way of encouraging children and families to explore the wonderful countryside sites we have dotted around the Mid Suffolk district.’
