It’s your chance to ensure you can vote

When residents of Mid Suffolk open their post at the end of the month, they will be finding a letter with a difference from Mid Suffolk District Council.

The Voter Registration Form, which ensures that residents can vote in the European Parliamentary Elections in June 2009, will be popping through letterboxes from the end of August.

The form is easy to complete and all residents will have to do if the details are correct, is sign and date it and return it in the pre-paid envelope provided. If you receive the form and the person listed has moved, then just follow the simple instructions on the form, and send it back.

Don’t forget, if your child is 16/17; add them to the form to ensure that they can vote as soon as they reach 18.

To avoid getting a reminder, all forms need to be returned by Wednesday 24 September 2008.
