Mid Suffolk Countryside Team’s new events diary is now
available. It is packed with events for all ages, throughout
2009.
To start the year off, why not come along and find out about
Bats? Enjoy a morning of illustrated talks and workshops led by the
Bat Conservation Trust. Aimed at those who are new to bats and
would like to know more, it is an opportunity to find out how to
get more involved with bat conservation. No prior knowledge
required.
This is a free event open to anyone over 16 years old. Booking
is essential, so don’t delay. Introduction to Bats will run
from 10am to 2.30pm on Saturday 31st January at Thornham
Walks.
Three shorter Evening Inspiration talks are also planned for
February, March and April, so come along to Needham Market and find
out more about your local area and nature conservation. Topics
include a Ranger’s role in the countryside, Biodiversity in Suffolk
and how woodlands are cared for.
