Suffolk Hedgerow Survey

The Countryside Team have supported many Parish Councils and individuals throughout the District who have been involved in surveying their parish hedgerows as part of the Suffolk Hedgerow Survey.

This ambitious undertaking hoped to record details about every hedgerow in Suffolk making it the most comprehensive survey of its kind in the Country. 

Sixty Seven parishes in Mid Suffolk have completed the survey, or are nearly complete, but despite many newsletters and conversations over the last 10 years many parishes were not able to find volunteers to help.

The Survey ended in Autumn 2011 and anyone out there with part complete surveys, maps or finished surveys waiting to be delivered neeeds to do so as soon as you can.
