You can make bookings for events all over the country by calling into the Tourist Information Centre. Tickets are available for music, theatre, performing arts ,sports events and flower shows.

Ticket Queen
We are booking agents for Ticket Queen which offers trips to music and theatre events locally and nationally with pick-ups at Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich.  You could see Mary Poppins in March (London) , Lord of the Rings in July (London) and the V Festival at Chelmsford in August, and many more...

National Express
National Express tickets are available at the TIC.  They are excellent value.  There is a daily service to and from Stowmarket going to Liverpool which stops at many major destinations on the way including, Newmarket, Cambridge, Peterborough, Leicester, Nottingham and Manchester.

For visits to London there are daily services from Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich that take you straight to and from the capital.

Keep an eye out for the special offers - often there are reduced prices in January, February and March, and other special deals throughout the year.
