Tourist Information Centre Services

Information Available

  • Local bus and train timetables
  • A wide large selection of holiday brochures for the whole of Great Britain

Coach Bookings

  • National Express: We are agents for National Express and are able to book any journey in the United Kingdom. Please call in with your travel enquiries.
  • John's Tours Coach Trips: You can book the John's Tours day trips through us. There is a wide selection of visits available including visits to the Broads, Clacton, Kew Gardens, Sandringham Flower Show and Pleasurewood Hills. Their brochures are available at the TIC.

Theatre Tickets, Tokens and Bookings

· We are agents for ticketmaster

· We are agents Ticket Queen

· We sell Theatre Tokens which can be redemmed at most local and West End theatres.

· We also sell tickets for many local events including firewok displays, concerts and plays.

 

Accommodation and Booking Service

Accommodation
We offer a wide variety of self catering or serviced (i.e. B & B, guest house, hotel) accommodation. Due to the rural character of the area much of the accommodation is set in beautiful, tranquil countryside or picturesque villages, making this an excellent location for walking, cycling, riding or just relaxing.

All the accommodation in our guide is inspected and graded. Contact details and prices are given and a clear table of symbols indicates what facilities are available. Booking
In general customers make their bookings themselves, but as a fully networked TIC we can offer a local accommodation booking service for customers requiring accommodation for the same day or the next. Callers to the office tell us what kind of accommodation they are looking for and we will telephone the Hotel or B&B and make the booking. We require a 10% deposit for the first night only, which is then deducted from bill at the end of your stay.

The same procedure is followed for a long distance booking into another area. We can make a booking for you via one of the other networked TICs for the same or next night.The deposit is the same and once again is deducted from your final bill at the accommodation
