In the case of a genuine missed collection, the bin must be reported within 48 hours of the scheduled collection day and the contractor will return within 48 hours of receiving the missed bin report.

Whilst on most weeks, a collection round remains similar and residents get used to a regular time of collection, the contractor occasionally changes routes or times for operational reasons. Bins should always be presented by 6:30am, regardless of any normal collection time. Where a collection is made earlier than the normal time and residents miss the collection, the contractor will not return.
