Instructions
Please read the following and use the links below to confirm that
the items you wish to have collected are acceptable, before
requesting a Bulky Refuse collection.
- The service is not intended as a house clearance service, all
items must be easily accessible at one point outside the property
or where you normally leave your rubbish
- It is possible to instruct the refuse crew to remove materials
from a driveway or similar, if there would be a problem with
collecting from outside the property - however contractors
employees are not allowed to enter a property, garage or shed to
collect materials
- Items should not be filled with other rubbish
- Bags of refuse (up to ten ) - this counts as five items, if you
have further bags or other bulky items you will need to complete
and pay for another request.
- Carpet does not include underlay; this is a separate item; one
room carpet is one item, but must be manageable by two people,
otherwise it must be cut into pieces, rolled and tied
- Fridges / freezers - only one of these is accepted per bulky
request
- Only items requested will be removed - if two identical items
are on site but only one on the request, none of the items in
question will be taken
- All items need to be ready for collection by 7am on the day of
collection
