Local recycling facilities

Many materials that cannot be placed in your recycling bin, such as glass and textiles can be taken to your local mini-recycling centres. In Mid Suffolk we have over 230 bottle banks,90 paper banks, 46 textile banks and 5 Tetra Pak banks.

Using your local mini recycling facility helps local community groups receive recycling grants. You can help protect Mid Suffolk’s environment by following these guidelines:

  • Please use the correct recycling banks for the correct materials.
  • Please do not leave boxes, bags etc at the recycling sites.
  • Please put recyclables into the banks, not on the ground.
  • If the recycling banks are full, please do not leave recyclables on the ground.
  • Report full banks to Mid Suffolk DC, and either take your recyclables home and visit the recycling banks another day, or visit an alternative recycling site.
  • Do not use these sites for general rubbish or trade waste.
  • Please be considerate of local residents by not using the recycling banks between 8pm and 8am.
