The future of waste in Suffolk….
By the year 2015, Great Blakenham landfill site will be
completely full with our black bin waste.
Not only does burying waste in the ground have a serious
environmental impact but the cost to do this is ever increasing.
Suffolk is one of the best performing counties in England when it
comes to recycling and composting and to help keep this title and
keep Council Tax down we need all of Suffolk’s residents to think
about the 4 R’s and to start practicing them as part of everyday
life, so do your bit and…..

Recover
Suffolk Real Nappy Network is a
not-for-profit organisation promoting the use of washable nappies.
One of their aims is to help reduce waste sent to landfill. They
also give free, impartial advice and ongoing support and guidance
to parents who wish to use washable nappies on their babies. They
have a lovely shop with a drop-in area where you can sit down and
have a chat with staff or other mums and dads. Find them at:
