Mid Suffolk District Council, South Norfolk Council, and Orchestras Live finished a two-year orchestral residency with the internationally renowned Academy of St Martin in the Fields in July 2007.

Over 2000 people engaged with the residency at some stage either through a programme of concerts, recitals, community and extra-curricular school based workshops and family outreach activities.

This project specifically helped to empower children and young people to manage their own musical and personal development by working with performers and composers to produce their own piece of music and showcase this at a final culmination concert.
