• Seek, develop and support initiatives to attract and involve young people in the arts.
• Continue to encourage professional arts in the community through establishing rural touring networks.
• Increase the access to professional arts and create learning opportunities for individuals and groups in which to participate.
• Develop and support cultural industries within the District.
• Work with local groups and organisations to help identify arts projects that develop prosperous, thriving towns and villages.
