Mid Suffolk
District Council has teamed up with the Energy Saving Trust Advice
Centre Anglia to offer residents a free personalised home energy
report to help them to take a step towards saving energy and
money.

residents will be sent a home energy questionnaire to receive a
free personalised report showing ways they can cut down their own
home energy use.

strong working relationship with the Energy Saving Trust Advice
Centre Anglia and together we have greatly increased domestic
energy efficiency and carbon savings within our district.”
Ashley Baxter,
Director of the Energy Saving Trust Advice Centre Anglia, said,
“There are simple and easy steps you can take to make your home
more energy efficient as well as saving up to £250 off your energy
bill and helping the environment too. A free home energy report
should be the first step you take and will help you to identify the
next steps to making your home as energy efficient as it can
be
The Energy Saving Trust Advice Centre Anglia can also help provide
advice and information on grants and offers available to you as
well as refer you to accredited installers. If you’re over 70 years
old you should now qualify for free insulation.”
Mid Suffolk
residents will receive their free home energy check questionnaires
in the post. If you live outside the District you can still return
the survey and receive a free report. Alternatively householders
can complete their home energy check online by visiting:
