Following two very well attended drop-in display events where over 800 people discussed issues affecting the Stowmarket and Sudbury areas, Babergh and Mid Suffolk Councils have made copies of the display available for anyone who missed out on the events.

Babergh and Mid Suffolk are hosting a free Funding and Volunteering Fair this October for community groups looking to attract more funding and volunteers across the districts.
Simultaneous meetings of Babergh and Mid Suffolk’s Cabinets will consider the future of the relationship between the two districts, including a recommendation to consider dissolving both current councils and replacing them with a new single council.
The independent Local Government Boundary Commission for England is asking people in Mid Suffolk and Babergh districts to comment on its draft proposals for new council ward boundaries.
