Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils can provide an ordnance survey (OS) plan for applications, but this is via a licence and there is a fee we have to pass on from Ordnance Survey. If you wish to obtain an OS plan from the Council, you will need to come to the Council in person and one of our team will organise the plan and take payment at the same time.
Online services offer the same service and may have different licence arrangements and fees.
The Councils use the following web site for providing OS plans and this is also available to the public to enable self-service. The Council has no responsibility for this external site nor does it seek to promote it. Please note there are other suppliers available and if you are employing an agent/architect they may have other options available:
The Planning portal website also provides links to OS suppliers that they support via an accreditation scheme and this may include the companies paying to be advertised. Planning portal also provides guidance on what should be included on a plan within this link. Again there are other suppliers available and the Council has no responsibility for this external site nor does it seek to promote it:
