Please note that:
Government requires local planning authorities in England to prepare, maintain, and publish a register of brownfield land that has been assessed as being suitable for housing development.
The register, which is divided into two parts, comprises a standard set of information. It is also intended that the register - which is to be kept up-to-date (normally at least once a year) and be made publicly available - will help provide certainty for both developers and communities, and encourage investment in local areas.
Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils have prepared a single register which covers both districts (see link above). Further updates will be undertaken consistent with the Councils' usual Joint Annual Monitoring Report publication processes and time-scales.
