Additional Waste and Recycling
From time to time you may have additional waste that you cannot fit within your wheelie bins. Below are some suggestions on how you can safely dispose of this.
Recycling
Additional recycling can either be collected in an authorised sack, or in any other clear sack, and should be placed next to your recycling bin on the relevant collection day. Cardboard can be flattened and left beside your recycling bin for collection.
Refuse
Additional refuse will only be accepted in authorised sacks and should be placed next to your refuse bin on the relevant collection day.
Garden
Garden can also be collected in green authorised sacks and should be placed next to your refuse bin on the relevant collection day. You can find out further details about our brown bin scheme, and how to join on our brown bin scheme within our Garden Waste web area.
Where do I get authorised sacks?
Authorised sacks can be purchased from our authorised suppliers.
| Type of sack | Cost per sack RRP |
| Recycling | 10p |
