Advance Notice: Brome Community Recycling Centre will be closed on Thursday 29th June and from Monday 2nd October and will reopen Monday 9th October.
The centre is not run by Mid Suffolk District Council and is not part of the Household Waste Recycling Centre network.
The centre is run by KHK Recycling and charges have to be made for certain types of waste, to pay for disposal and the costs of running the facility.

Plasterboard is only accepted at four Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs) in Suffolk:

Plasterboard is not classed as a household waste product (according to the Controlled Waste Regulations) and therefore a small charge will be made to dispose of this type of waste.
