Congratulations to Their Majesties on Coronation Day
Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils Chairmen have sent congratulations on behalf of the districts to Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla on their coronation.
Chairman of Babergh District Council, Cllr Kathryn Grandon, said:
“Our sincere congratulations to Their Majesties on this special day. I am proud to be able to witness this day and join with residents across the district in sending our best wishes to King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
Chairman of Mid Suffolk District Council, Cllr James Caston, said:
“My heartfelt congratulations to Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla on Coronation Day, on behalf of everyone in Mid Suffolk. We are proud to join with communities across the county in recognising the start of a new era in our great nation’s history and legacy.”
A number of communities are staging events locally with picnics, parties and celebrations taking place over the bank holiday weekend.
