Stowmarket residents are being invited to have their say on plans to refurbish equipment in a popular children’s playground.
The playground, at Wren Close, Cedars Park, Stowmarket, has been in use since 2002. Mid Suffolk District Council is planning to refurbish the play area and want to hear from residents about how they use the park.
Public Realm Officers from Mid Suffolk District Council will be at the play area between 2pm and 4pm on Wednesday 15 August to talk to residents about what equipment they want to see installed at the play area.
Those unable to attend the event are invited to comment online. The online survey is open until 12 September 2018.
Cllr David Burn, Mid Suffolk District Council’s Cabinet Member for Environment, said: “Open space has a huge impact on health and wellbeing, and the Wren Close play area has been giving children access to an open-air playground for years. Please do come along to meet us or let us know online what you think about the play area, so we can make sure the new equipment brings enjoyment to future generations of children.”
