Council tenants and leaseholders have been sent a survey asking them to rate the services they receive from Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils as their landlord.
Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils have commissioned Marketing Means to carry out a comprehensive housing satisfaction survey. 7,000 households across the districts will have until 28 June 2019 to have their say on the housing services they receive from the councils. Returned surveys will be entered into a prize draw to win one of four £50 shopping vouchers.
Gavin Fisk, Assistant Director for Housing at Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils, said:
“This will be the first survey in five years we have carried out with our tenants. We want to gain a better understanding of the views and opinions of the people we serve and that rely on our housing services. The outcomes of the survey will give us a better understanding on our tenants’ experience and where we need to make improvements in the future.”
There are three types of tenancies in the districts; tenants in general needs accommodation, those living in our sheltered schemes and leaseholders each with concerns unique to their tenancy. The survey received will be dependent on the type of tenancy allowing the council to focus on the needs of each group. Survey results will be published by Autumn 2019.
Completed surveys can be returned in the freepost envelope provided, or online using the specific link and household ID included on the letter. You can find more information on our website.
