Occasionally residents may have additional waste that cannot fit within the wheeled bin. Below are suggestions on how you can safely dispose of this.
Additional recycling can either be collected in an authorised sack, or in any other clear sack, and should be placed beside the recycling bin for the next collection day. Cardboard can be flattened and left beside the recycling bin for collection, but must be dry as we cannot collect wet cardboard.
Additional refuse will only be accepted in authorised orange sacks and should be placed beside the refuse bin for the relevant collection day.
Additional garden waste will only be accepted in authorised green sacks and should be placed beside the refuse bin for the relevant collection day. You can find out further details about our garden waste scheme, including how to join in the Garden Waste collection service.
Authorised sacks can be purchased from our authorised sack stockists

Please note the orange and green sacks are only available in Mid Suffolk District.
