Help shape the future of where you live

Have you received an invitation to take part in the 2025 Residents' Survey?

If you have, please follow the links in the invitation letter to complete the survey online. If you are unable to complete it online, a paper version will be sent to you in due course.

What is the Residents' Survey?

Since 2022, Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils have run a large-scale survey with residents across our districts. The survey is your opportunity to tell us how you feel about your local area and how well the councils are performing.

The results are used by Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils to help inform a range of policies and services to make life better for people across the districts.

How do I take part?

Only those residents who have received an invitation can participate. This is to ensure we have a representative mix of people that reflect the population of our districts.

  • Up to three adults aged 18 and over in each household that receives an invitation can take part
  • The survey can be completed online at www.opinionresearch.co.uk/baberghandmidsuffolk using the access code on your invitation letter
  • If you are unable to complete the survey online you will be sent a paper copy of the questionnaire in due course
  • The closing date for completed surveys is 21 September 2025

Who are Opinion Research Services (ORS)?

The survey is being conducted on behalf of Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils by Opinion Research Services (ORS - www.ors.org.uk), an independent social research agency. ORS adheres to the Market Research Society Code of Conduct at all times.
