Order or renew a garden waste bin
Please note that garden waste must not be put in refuse (general rubbish) or recycling bins.
Garden waste can be taken to Suffolk Recycling Centres. Another way to recycle garden waste is via home composting.
We also offer a garden waste collection service.
Garden waste is collected on a fortnightly schedule, apart from two weeks over the Christmas and New Year period.
The annual cost of this service is £59.00 per brown bin, plus a one-off administration charge of £10.00 for new or additional subscriptions.
Your application might need to be assessed to see if it is possible to carry out your collections safely.
Once you have applied, we aim to deliver the bin/s as soon as possible. However, during busy periods, this could take up to 3-4 weeks. Your subscription will begin from the delivery date and you don't need to be at home when your bin/s is delivered.
Before you apply, please read our garden waste collection service terms and conditions, which includes information about what can be put into a brown bin.
