Connect to Work Suffolk can help you find good work quickly – with free, personalised job support in the heart of your local community. If you’re already in work but finding it tough, they can support you to manage the challenges and retain your job. This includes if you are living with a health condition or disability.
Thrive
Thrive is a free Suffolk-wide support service for 16 to 24-year-olds, helping young people build confidence, develop skills, and access employment, education, training, and work experience opportunities. It offers personalised coaching, careers advice, CV writing support, and connections to local opportunities.
Digital skills
If you want to feel more confident using your digital devices, lots of free support is available online and in your local area. You can also find support to connect to the internet.
Realise futures employment support
A variety of employment programmes are available across Suffolk. Their team of Employment Advisors help people learn new skills and find the right job for them, via a range of support activities.
Suffolk Work Well
A free service run by Suffolk Mind that supports you to sustain, retain and or gain or regain employment (or education, training) and your build confidence.
Stowmarket innovation gateway
Learn skills across four core areas:

- Creative digital skills
Jobcentre Plus Support
If you receive benefits, your Jobcentre Plus Work Coach can help you take the next step towards employment, training or increasing your income.
Your Work Coach can:
- Offer personalised advice on finding work and improving your job prospects.
- Help you create or update your CV and prepare for interviews.
- Signpost you to local job vacancies and recruitment events.
- Check whether you are eligible for funded training courses, qualifications or skills programmes.
- Support you to identify training that matches your interests, experience and career goals.
- Provide guidance on apprenticeships, sector-based work academy programmes and other employment support schemes.
Speak to your Work Coach to find out what support and training opportunities are available to you. Many programmes are fully funded and designed to help you gain new skills, build confidence and move closer to work.
