It’s a simple online tool that:
- asks a few quick questions to check your current skills
- reveals your 'digital score' and tells you what you can work on next
- recommends free local courses, drop-ins and internet access points
You can also go directly to its service directory, to find support that's available support near you.

How to use the Digital Help Finder
Create an account
- Go to the tool’s main page and click 'Start'
- You can sign up with your email address or phone number
- Enter the verification code you receive to confirm your account
Complete your first assessment
When you log in, you can start your first digital skills assessment. This will take you just one or two minutes.
You'll see six screens of statements - select only the skills that you feel confident about.
You are able to skip screens.
Track your progress
When you have finished, you'll be taken to your dashboard, where you'll be able to see how you're doing.
As you improve, you can return to any screen at any time to update your skills.
Find local support and resources
Under your dashboard, you’ll find recommended resources based on your location and your skills. Click any resource to read more or follow the link to access support.
