Types of sacks
Orange refuse sacks (Mid Suffolk only)
Authorised orange sacks are for any additional household refuse (general rubbish) you may have, and are available for 84p each.
Place the sacks by the refuse bin on your refuse collection day.
Sacks must be able to be easily lifted and tied at the top to prevent being overfilled.
Unauthorised sacks of refuse (such as black bags) will not be collected.
Clear recycling sacks
Any additional household recycling can be put in any clear, see-through sack.
Place the sacks by the recycling bin on your recycling collection day.
Sacks must be able to be easily lifted and tied at the top to prevent being overfilled.
Clear sacks can also be purchased from our authorised sack stockists for 12p each.
Green garden waste sacks (Mid Suffolk only)
Authorised green sacks are for any additional garden waste you may have, and are available for £1.20 each.
They can also be used if you do not have a garden waste (brown) bin.
Place the green sacks by the refuse bin on your refuse collection day.
Sacks must be able to be easily lifted and tied at the top to prevent being overfilled.
Unauthorised sacks of garden waste (such as black bags) will not be collected.
