On Thursday 28 November 2019, a Neighbourhood Plan Referendum took place in Botesdale & Rickinghall. Electors were asked:
Do you want Mid Suffolk District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Botesdale & Rickinghall to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?
Results were as follows:
