Real Christmas tree recycling

Garden waste bins

If you have a garden waste (brown) bin, during January you can leave your real Christmas tree beside your brown bin on collection day. Please remove all decorations.

Please note: Large trees - trees over 7ft tall, or have a trunk thicker that 7cm - cannot be collected. Instead, they can be taken to a recycling centre or a collection point.

Recycling centres

Real Christmas trees can be taken to a recycling centre in Suffolk and placed in the garden waste container.

Christmas tree collection points

You can take your real Christmas tree, with all decorations removed, to one of our collection points.

Details of locations to be publish soon.
