Suffolk County Council By-Election November 2026

Poll cards are being issued as poll letters for this election.

You may notice that the document you receive looks different from previous elections. Instead of the traditional poll card, you will receive a poll card letter, which contains the same important information you need to vote. Follow this link for a guide on understanding your poll card.

You do not need to bring your poll letter to the polling station to vote, although you may find it helpful. Remember that voters are required to bring an accepted form of photo ID to vote at a polling station.

A Suffolk County Council (SCC) By-Election in the Bosmere Division is due to take place on Thursday 12 November 2026.

Further details about the SCC elections will become available on the Suffolk County Council website.

All electors who are currently registered and eligible to vote will receive a poll card before polling day, which will let you know where you need to cast your vote.

On polling day, polls will be open from 7am to 10pm.
