Household refuse and recycling collections
Household refuse (general rubbish) and recycling are collected on an alternate week schedule.
This means that your refuse will be collected one week and your recycling the next.
Collections following a bank holiday will usually be a day later than normal for the rest of the week.
Check what should go in your refuse and recycling bins. If a bin contains unacceptable items, it will not be emptied.
Please ensure that your bin is out by 6.30am on your collection day and that you follow our bin collection advice.

Garden waste (brown bin) collections
Garden waste is collected on a fortnightly schedule via a subscription service.
The service is paused for two weeks over the Christmas and New Year period. Plus, collections following a bank holiday will usually be a day later than normal for the rest of the week.
Check what should go in your garden waste bin. If a bin contains unacceptable items, it will not be emptied.
Please ensure that your bin is out by 6.30am on your collection day and that you follow our bin collection advice.
